Vindø yachts have a special place in my heart. O know that many of you share this appreciation for their cozy design 🙂

This Vindø 40 has a classic long keel and a strong hull. The boat handles predictably in coastal waters and is comfortable for longer passages. The interior stands out for its 1.8 m headroom, making time below deck more pleasant.

The engine was fully rebuilt by professionals in 2025, including a new gearbox. This gives confidence for many more seasons on the water. The windows were removed, the coachroof sanded and varnished, and then windows resealed with modern adhesive.

The owner is transparent about two cosmetic jobs: the cockpit bench needs replacement, and the canopy mount on the roof should be fixed. Both are cosmetic and do not affect function.

The sails are in good condition, and the boat is ready for immediate use. The hull has fresh antifouling as of May 2025.

The Hallberg-Rassy 34 is a practical cruiser designed by German Frers. This yacht is known for predictable handling and comfort on long passages. The hull shape and fin keel give stable sailing in coastal waters and offshore.

A new Volvo Penta D1-30 was installed in 2011. The saildrive was replaced the same year. The Gori folding propeller helps with smooth motoring and efficient sailing.

The rig underwent a full upgrade in 2011 with a new mast and Elvstrøm sails. Running rigging is recently renewed. The rig check is scheduled for 2025, which supports reliability for extended cruising.

The hull was professionally sanded and epoxy primed in 2014. VC17 antifouling gives a smooth underwater surface. The deck and cockpit show well-kept teak and protected workspaces.

The interior has a warm teak finish. The layout includes two cabins and a practical galley. The navigation station is well-equipped for longer journeys.
