Vista 28 motorsailer with a new engine for just 4,800 euro!

Friends! Today we have a Vista 28 motorsailer with a new engine for just 4,800 euro!

Location: Norway

Length: 8.53 meters
Width: 2.85 meters
Draft: 1.53 meters
Sleeps: 4
Kitchen (galley): available
Toilet: available

The boat is clean, well-maintained and has a certain charm. A big plus of motorsailers is the presence of the wheelhouse that can shelter you from the weather. Being in such a wheelhouse during the rain is cozy and even nice 🙂

Despite the small length, the boat is quite spacious.

The galley is equipped with a stove, refrigerator and sink with fresh water under pressure and a 125 liter water tank. The interior and pillows are in good condition.

Teak is laid in the cockpit, it was cared for and looks good. There is also a tent in the cockpit. A gas heater is installed in the cabin.

A set of sails includes a mainsail with a cover and a staysail in good condition.

The main plus of this boat is the new 40-horsepower Volvo Penta D2-40F diesel engine (2013) with an operating time of only about 100 hours. This is a fairly powerful and fresh engine, which still has a lot of resource.

Also, a lot of equipment necessary for going out to the sea is given with the boat: an autopilot, an echo sounder, a compass, wind force and direction meter, fenders, mooring lines and much more.

Hallberg-Rassy 31 MkII with a Volvo Penta MD2020 engine for 64,000 euro!

Friends! Today we have a super offer that I would really like to buy myself, but unfortunately, I have other plans for now (I’m going to Langkawi, already bought the tickets).

This is a 1999 Hallberg-Rassy 31 MkII with a Volvo Penta MD2020 engine for 64,000 euro!

Location: Norway

Length: 9.42 meters
Width: 3.06 meters
Draft: 1.62 meters
Sleeps: 6
Kitchen (galley): yes
Toilet (head): yes

It may seem expensive at first, but in my opinion, this is one of the best offers of all the time I’ve been watching boats.

This is a modern HR with two separate cabins, with 2020 sails (brand new), the elastic band on the saildrive was replaced, all the kingstons were replaced in 2021.

The teak deck is in perfect condition, the interior was updated 3 years ago, Raymarine radar, Navtex, autopilot, new dingy (2020), AIS with data transmission via WiFi, ocean life raft, mooring equipment, etc.

This HR costs a little more than a typical mainstream of these years in this size (on average they cost about 50k euros), but usually Hallberg-Rassy boats cost 2 times more expensive.

Hallberg-Rassy is one of the best shipyards, which doesn’t try to save money during the production of boats, which makes bluewater class boats, they are as reliable as possible and are made with the highest quality.

The potential price for this boat is about 80-120k euros. The owners watched it very carefully.

This is exactly the case when a boat costs more than it is asked for, despite the price tag, which initially seems large.

Hallberg Rassy Misil II with a Johnson engine for just 2,380 euro!

Friends, today we have a Hallberg Rassy Misil II with a Johnson engine for just 2,380 euro!

Location: Sweden

Length: 7.35 meters
Width: 2.30 meters
Draft: 1.20 meters
Sleeps: 4
Kitchen (galley): available
Toilet: unavailable

The boat looks nice and clean. I’ll give away such a boat to one of the lucky who purchased my course “A small sailboat captain”.

The boat has everything you need to start conquering the wind and the sea. In my opinion, this is a great option for the first boat.

With a length of 7.35 meters, the boat has a width of 2.30 meters, which gives the feeling of a larger boat. Also, this width fits into the road size, which means that you can not be tied to any particular water area.

Of course, there is always something to fix on a boat for such a price, but there are no serious problems with the boat, and I would consider this as an opportunity to practice minor repairs.

There is an alcohol stove and a sink in the galley. There is a heater installed in the cabin, new cushions. The boat has a solar panel and a wind generator (not installed yet).

Full set of sails: mainsail with a cover, genoa on a furling, storm staysail, spinnaker with a spinnaker boom and an additional genoa. The sails are in good working condition.

The boat is equipped with a Johnson outboard engine with a capacity of 6 hp. The engine starts and works properly.

A stereo system, a VHF radio station, an anchor with an anchor line, a charger, batteries, fenders, mooring lines and much more is given with the boat.

Friends, today we have a 35 ft Risor with a new Nanni engine for 15,000 euro!

Location: Norway

Length: 10.67 meters
Width: 3.62 meters
Draft: 1.80 meters
Sleeps: 5
Kitchen (galley): available

This Risor is a 1943 boat with rich history. Despite its advanced age, the boat looks clean and well-mintained and combines modern comfort solutions and classic charm.

Initially it was a fishing vessel, but in 1973 it was bought by a wood merchant who converted it into a sailing ketch. The merchant had access to good wood and replaced most of the wooden elements with mahogany and teak.

Then the boat fell into the hands of a businessman from Singapore in 1991, after a powerful hurricane, it was destroyed.

Since 1999, the stage of a long and meticulous restoration has begun. All damaged elements have been repaired and reinforced. The boat received new modern furniture. The deck and deckhouse are made of massive teak. In 2007, the current owners installed a brand new 50hp Nanni engine.

Despite the classic look, there is a lot of modern equipment on the boat: Simrad Chartplotter (2019), Furuno radar, Furuno sonar, Simrad autopilot, Raytheon DSC VHF with GPS reception and an emergency button that sends your location, Taylor diesel/kerosene heater, water tanks, electric toilet and much more.
