The boat looks really cozy. No old boat clutter, which can be often found on boats for such a price.

It’s worth saying right away that I’m surprised by such a low price for this boat. When I was looking for Albin Vega, more or less well-kept offers started from 3000 euro. This boat looks very clean, neat and has a lot of updates. The price in the ad is 1200 euros, but the seller will make a discount for those who are ready to pick the boat up till the end of May.

The boat has a rudder from the Maxi 68, so that she is better controlled in reverse. In 2016, it was completely painted, the interior was renewed, the lighting was replaced with LED, all water hoses and pumps were updated.

The galley on the boat is equipped with a stove and a sink with fresh and seawater. New portholes are installed in the cabin. The cushions were resewn and firmed up.

An outboard 7.5hp Suzuki motor is included. An inboard Volvo Penta motor isn’t dismantled, the motor shaft and propeller are still there. Maybe you can repair it. Ask the owner.

If you dismantle it, you’ll have more space and carrying capacity will increase. You can also sell it for parts or for rebuilt and return part of the purchase costs.

There’s a mainsail, a jib with a furler and UV protection. The sails are in good condition, the furler is an obvious advantage: it is comfortable and it says that the sails are not original (it is quite common for sailboats up to 1000 €).

The interior is quite standard: closed cockpit, a lot of lockers, a V-shaped bed in a forward cabin, you can make a double bed from it. There are 2 single beds in the saloon and a galley, the toilet is relatively separate. The ceiling height is 1.75 m and the beds’ length is 1.85 m.

The description of the equipment looks incomplete, you should specify it with the owner. A spay hood, batteries and a solar panel, mooring equipment are mentioned.

The underwater part requires updating the antifouling, it’s inexpensive. You can even do it yourself (it will take 2 days).

This model is considered to be a great one and suitable for beginners. At the same time, it’s a legendary model, it was used for world cruises and travels to Antarctica multiple times.

It’s reliable and strong, and it costs almost as a used outboard motor.
