There are two most important and valuable moments about this sailboat. It has an updated motor, it is in good condition on the whole and it has a convenient location, it is already in the Mediterranean!

The price is good enough even for Scandinavia, but in this case it is already in Greece, I think that its market price in the Mediterranean Sea is about 20,000 euro!

An electric Lewmar winch, solar panels, an updated wiring system, 3 batteries, the interior was reconstructed and updated in 2013.

Nauticat is widely known as a sailboat which was designed for round-the-world trips. It is rather capacious, reliable, well-designed for long passages.

In this case the sailboat is properly updated, there’s a fresh motor (2015), the haulage is only 352 motor hours!

Raymarine echo sounder (2018), Raymarine navigator (2020), an anemometer (wind measuring instrument, 2020), Raymarine AIS (2020), Lowranse VHF (2015), a diesel heater (2018), boiler which works from motor cooling system (2016), a new water tank (2015), all the tools were replaced (2017), a starter battery (2015), two 100 Ah service batteries (2020), etc.

I can’t describe all the updates but there’re lots of them. There’s also hot and cold water, a fridge, a gas stove, a septic tank, big diesel reserve (2х280 liters), new navigation lights, manual anchor winch was repaired in 2021, there’s a new toilet, new running rigging and so on.

By the way, teak and hull were updated in 2017.It’s a ketch, all the sails are rather small so you can make different wind balance.

The engine has a 5-year warranty. It means that there’re 4 years more of warranty left! The shaft, propeller were replaced, too. Engine haulage is only 128 hours. So it’s only 1-2% of its resource.

The boat was properly updated in 2020. A new autopilot was installed, a new anchor winch with 50 meters of chain, a new toilet. A hot water boiler was installed (now the boat has hot water and a shower). All hoses and likely kingstones were replaced. There’s a new charger, two 110 Ah batteries, new battery monitoring.

New 2 speed winches (both on the mast and in the cockpit). Most of the running rigging and other ropes were replaced in 2020. The sails are only a few years old so they are in excellent condition.

A hard roof (yellow) was installed. You might dismount it if you want. A new swim platform with an aerial ladder was installed. A shower in the cockpit with hot and cold water, all hatches and windows were replaced. There’s a heater, a compressor fridge, rescue equipment, mooring equipment, etc.

All the beds are about 2 meters long and the height in the salon is about 1.9m.

In my opinion, the offer is 10 out of 10. This is a kind of boat I would buy for myself. A huge amount of money has been invested. A lot of updates both for security and comfort. A completely new engine that will be under warranty for another 4 years (most likely it will not be required).

A legendary boat and everything has already been done. Maybe something else can be done, e.g. I would polish the teak in the cockpit and cover it with oil. It would be perfect. I would also make new cushions covers, but these are nuances.

In my opinion, Hallberg Rassy Monsun is the perfect Vega, it has everything that I lacked in the last boat.

A good boat for two but it is bigger than Vega and there’s already a passage in front of the table. There’s a chart table that can be used as a workplace. You can install a shower on this boat. There’s an anchor chamber.

In this case, the engine was updated and a powerful Volvo Penta MD 2030 D was installed. There’s also a stern and bow platform (this is also very convenient). The sails are in good condition, there’s a jib furler, there’s a lazy jack, an inflatable boat with an outboard engine, there’s a heater, solar panels , mooring equipment, etc.

You need to buy a new stove, most likely there are some other little things. I would have pledged at least another 2000-3000 euro.

Additionally, a new set of sails is offered for 2900 euro.

There’s a brand new unmounted anchor winch.

This is a good option for those looking for a reliable long keel boat from the legendary Hallberg Rassy brand but for relatively little money.
