A boat with a big story. I posted it two years ago. Then a subscriber contacted me and asked for the seller’s contact and a more detailed report. The subscriber bought this boat and sailed it from Norway to Greece.

After two years of ownership and an unforgettable trip, the owner sells the boat at a good price, which is 1K less for our subscribers.

The teak interior is in excellent condition.

Sails: an in-mast mainsail and a staysail (new 2019) on a furler.

The boat has a new Volvo Penta D1-30 engine with a new sail drive. This upgrade cost 10K.

New electrics. New batteries and solar panels. There is an inverter and a shore power cord. There is also a new 3000 watt inverter.

There is also some equipment on the boat: chartplotter (not installed, but available), echo sounder, anemometer, compass, VHF, handheld VHF and more.

The legendary boat of the famous Swedish shipyard. There were only three owners.

The interior is in primal, almost collectible condition. The mahogany elements look like new.

A galley with a stove with an oven, hot and cold water and a refrigerator.

All seacocks and valves have been replaced.

There is a heater for cold days on the boat.

A new starter battery and a new lithium service battery. There is also a solar panel.

The sails look good. There is a mainsail with a cover and a staysail on a furling. The standing rigging was inspected several years ago in a professional workshop.

The sheets and halyards are brought into the cockpit.

A big plus is the new 2021 Volvo Penta D1—30 engine with a new sail drive.

The deck is covered with teak. The wood itself looks good, but it used to be that the teak was attached to the screws through the deck and leaks may appear over time.

There’s also a chartplotter, autopilot, and an old VHF.

Beautiful and very well maintained Bavaria 34. The boat is over 35 feet long, despite the marking.

Throughout history, the boat was owned by one family. It can be seen that the boat was never rented out and was used very carefully.

I love it when I find boats that look like the standard of careful treatment.

The interior is clean and tidy. The two-cabin version is unpopular in the charter.

Galley with everything you need + built-in microwave. There is a gas alarm system.

Spacious bathroom with shower.

There is a Webasto.

The old batteries were replaced with new Exide Marina Gel 120 Ah batteries. Gel batteries are a good solution.

A complete set of sails: a staysail on the furling and an in-mast mainsail. The sails are in excellent condition. The standing rigging has been checked by professionals. It’s good.

The Volvo Penta D1-30 engine is fully serviced and works like clockwork.

The hatches and portholes look good. The owner lubricated all the seals with silicone so that they would not lose their elasticity and last longer.

Two electric anchor winches (one on the bow and one at the stern).

Since it’s an owner’s boat, there are a lot of tools and spare parts.

There is a lot of equipment: chartplotter with autopilot and echo sounder, VHF, walkie-talkie, AIS, radar, life raft for 6 people and much more.

A high-quality boat made in Sweden. An improved model of the well-known Comfortina 32.

The interior looks good. The lighting has been replaced with LED.

A galley along the port side with everything you need. Separate toilet with septic tank and new hoses.

The salon has a TV, a Webasto and an air dryer.

All seacocks have been replaced with TruDesign. The best available on the market at the moment.

New bilge pump with the level control.

The underwater part was serviced. New anodes, new antifouling, the propeller is polished.

There is a photo of the keel bolts. At least they look good in the photos.

A full set of sails is provided with the boat: a brand new genoa with a Furlex furler, 2 mainsails and a spinnaker.

The boat has a Yanmar 3GM30F engine, which was completely renovated in 2021. The owner has a receipt and an order for completed work.

The teak in the cockpit is old, but it looks acceptable. Perhaps its thickness will no longer allow it to be sanded.

Good winches are installed. The sheets and halyards were thrown into the cockpit. New sprayhood and bimini are sewn.

Nice and well-maintained boat. The family owns the boat.

The bright and spacious interior is in good condition. The headroom is 185 cm. Plenty of storage space. The toilet is located in a separate room. There is a septic tank with a pump-out deck fitting.

The galley has an old but clean stove with oven, sink and refrigerator. Since the stove is old, it’s worth checking all hoses and connections.

The sails look good. There is a staysail on a furling with UV protection, a mainsail with a cover and a spinnaker. The sheets and halyards are placed in the cockpit, which allows you to set sails even alone.

The boat has a Yanmar 2QM15 engine. There is no information about any problems with the engine. A folding screw is installed.

1 starter battery and 2 house batteries. There are solar panels with a Victron controller.

The boat is also in good condition outside. A new spray hood has been sewn. The teak on the deck looks good. The hatches look new.

The boat is being sold by the second owner, who has been improving the boat throughout the time.

The interior is in good condition. There is a galley with everything you need. A new Webasto is installed.

New lithium batteries.

Outside, the boat requires attention. The teak in the cockpit is in good condition, but the condition of the teak on the deck is not very good. There is also a scratch on the gelcoat, but it’s not a big problem.

The sails look good. A new spray hood has been sewn for the mainsail. The staysail on the furling with UV protection.

The Yanmar engine was removed in 2023 and fully overloaded. There is a photo report of the entire repair process.

A good boat is fully prepared for large sea voyages or crossing the ocean.

The boat is currently in the Caribbean. The owner of the boat is our subscriber, who invested heavily in the boat, but had to sell it.

The standing rigging was replaced in 2022. This is one of the main nodes on any boat.

The underwater part has been cleaned and painted with new antifouling. A new rudder blade. Hope the old one wasn’t bitten off by orcas 🙂

Something like a hard-top and a hard-dodger was made.

At the stern is a targa with solar panels and a Starlink modem.

An almost new set of sails: genoa on a furling (2022), mainsail (2022), a second staysail on a furling (2019), as well as a complete set of older spare sails, including a spinnaker.

The boat has a Volvo Penta 2003T engine. Full maintenance was done in 2024.

New electrics — AGM batteries, solar panels, inverter, Bluetooth charge monitoring.

The boat has a watermaker (30 liters/hour), which can operate independently of batteries. This is a fairly expensive device.

A new powerful anchor has been purchased (perhaps even excessively powerful).

The boat also has an autopilot, wind autopilot, chartplotter, life raft (active) and much more.

All power tools, spare parts, life jackets, SUP surf and even bicycles are also given with the boat.
