This sailboat was built as a kind of response from England to swedish Hallberg-Rassy. It is designed with a centre cockpit, quarter cabin and powerful engine.

Four cylinder diesel engine Leyland Thornycroft (35 h.p.) with fresh water cooling is installed.

There is a genoa furler, mainsail and spinnaker. The owner wrote that it is better to replace the genoa, so pay attention to its condition. Besides, it is a reason for price negotiation.

An excellent modern and good-equipped sailboat in good condition. This is a yacht from the owner, it has never been on charter.

Sails with furlers (both mainsail and genoa), all the wires go to the cockpit. Lucky and comfortable combination for cruise sailing as I see it.

The ad specifies lots of equipment: there are GPS Raymarine C90W, autopilot Raymarine, wind measurer, echo sounder, radio station, batteries, starter battery 75Ah, service battery 3x75Ah, shore power system 220 W with 3 sockets, inverter, shower with cold and hot water and hot water supply to the cockpit. Spacious fridge, the water can be heated from the shore power system or from the motor.

There’s an anchor with 50-meters chain in the nose, the TV with an antenna in the mast, electric toilet (it was replaced in 2018), a fixture for an outboard engine, life raft for 6 people, new generator, gas stove with 2 burners, 2 gas balloons 2 kilos each, fire extinguishers (3 pcs), inflatable raft, mooring ropes, fordable propeller, cockpit tent, UV protecting covers and lots of more equipment.

This sailboat looks just great. It is colored very neatly, the wood looks well-conditioned. The owner says he repaired the hull and the keel, so I would advise to ask what exactly did he improve.

There’s an inboard motor Yanmar 10 h.p., it works properly and what is more you can easily find any details and spare parts for this model at a cheap price. This engine is not original, it is the new one (replaced in 2010).

Mainsail and genoa with a furler is included, most likely there is also a spinnaker (look, there’s a spinnaker boom on the photo).

Apart from the usual equipment like the mooring ropes, fenders and anchor there’s also the new GPS Simrad and autopilot.

Cool offer in my opinion, especially if the owner made good-quality repair. The renewed motor and good layout will raise the price of this boat a lot in the Med if you just sail it there to resell 🙂

A modern yacht with a lot of expensive equipment. It’s well-maintained, there are many updates and additions, and this all costs 32 000 euro only.

The Volvo Penta MD 2020D engine is 18 h.p., as the seller said it doesn’t have a motor hour meter, but it’s still in good condition.

There were a lot of updates in 2019, such as replacing the entire cooling system, replacing the thermostat, replacing the entire exhaust system. In the spring of 2020, all filters were replaced, and the anodes were also replaced.

All the sails have furler, the mainsail can be retracted into the mast, there is a genoa furler but protection from ultraviolet radiation should be made.

I used to be skeptical about furl into the mast, but I recently talked to several owners of such yachts and they said there were no problems with seizing and it was very convenient.

The yacht has a full-fledged large chartplotter where everything can be brought out, an autopilot, a life raft, a wind meter, an echo sounder, a radar, a stationary radio station, a diesel heater, a shower, a 100W solar panel, an anchor with a chain, a stern anchor, speakers inside and outside, USB sockets, TV antenna on the mast, new 2018 propeller, new spray hood, and winter awning that has not yet been used.

Perkins 6354 engine, 120 h.p., there is a fuel tank set at 200 liters, the consumption is most likely 2-3 litres per hour.

The sails are in good condition, there’s a genoa furler, a swim platform as well as a bow platform for going ashore, 3 batteries, 2 solar panels 50-60W, hot water, gas stove with oven, water heating from the engine, refrigerator, shower, radar, echo sounder, etc.

A very well-groomed motorsailer, there are a lot of things, nothing is said about the engine’s operation but I think it is in order.

The yacht is for long-distance travel, it is already sufficiently equipped and it’s a real gift for this price!

Well-equipped american sailboat. The description lists lots of things, the owner also says he gives a lot of spare parts with this yacht. I guess that tools are also included. Perfect way to save some money 🙂

There’s a steering wheel, all wiring goes to the cockpit, solar panels are installed, water heating, sockets 220W, LED lights, new starter battery, navigator and autopilot..

The sailboat is rather spacious inside, wood and plastic look very good.

There are a few words about the engine (the owner just mentioned that he cleaned the tank). Visually it is in good condition but it’s better to check.

Looks good on the whole, enough space and most likely this sailboat is very comfortable for travel. Small draft gives you more possibilities in small depths. I would try to reduce the price a bit though. With lower price this offer would be just perfect 🙂

Well-equipped and well-conditioned. The owner mentioned some issue with the motor (fuel leak at the inlet) but it was repaired.

This sailboat was built in 1978. Dinghy with motor Suzuki is provided. What is more, this sailboat has a steering wheel.

Electric wiring goes to cockpit, running rigging is updated in 2017. Shower, hot water, dinghy and so on. Toilet was updated in 2019.

I will not list all the equipment, there’s quite a lot of it. It’s a sailboat from the owner so it was cared for, besides, all the tools and equipment aboard are included in the price.

There’s also a disadvantage — fuel tank gauge unit is broken. It is not critical though, you can easily change it. Wind sensor doesn’t work, too, but the owner bought the new one, you’ll just need to change it.

It’s a legendary sailboat, I already wrote about Hallberg-Rassy that it’s like a Bentley in yachting world, extremely cool shipyard. Bowthruster and electric anchor winch are installed.

This sailboat looks great both inside and outside. I think it’s a great deal: Hallberg-Rassy Monsun 31 for 14000 euro is a gift even with an old engine.
