A very beautiful boat that is being sold by a guy who has a blog on YouTube. To be honest, I haven’t watched his videos, but there is a link to his channel in the ad.

However, I see that the boat is very well-maintained and updated.

Firstly, it immediately strikes that the interior has been redesigned. The owner managed to avoid the “IKEA” effect. The boat turned out to be very cozy.

A brand new galley with new stove, plumbing and a roomy refrigerator. All hatches and portholes have been replaced. New seacocks.

There is a separate aft cabin. Fully dedicated toilet with electric flush, septic tank and new plumbing.

The sails are brand new: a staysail with UV protection, a mainsail and a mizzen. There are covers for the last two.

Usually I don’t do reviews on such boats, but I decided to make an exception. This is 2019 yacht, and it has been in the hands of one family. It can be seen that the boat has never been chartered and its condition is close to ideal.

An important thing is that the boats of 2019 are often found in a new condition. They had been bought, but when the pandemic began, sailing ended almost all over the world, and the owners lost interest over time due to they can’t sail, but have to pay the mooring fee.

There is also exactly the same Hanse in our marina, and the owner is very happy with the boat, travels a lot and participates in competitions.

This boat has an extended package of additional options. Improved oak interior finish. Lithium batteries with smart charging. Bow thruster with a separate battery.

Yanmar 3JH5E engine with a power of 39 hp is installed.

The deck made of natural teak looks very beautiful.

Two steering wheels. A good chartplotter in the cockpit with all the necessary instruments.

Many complain about the quality of Hanse fittings (for example, door locks quickly fail, etc.). Judging by the ad, the owner has eliminated these disadvantages.

A complete set of new sails, including even Code0. There is a lazy bag. The self-tacking staysail is on the furling.

A new cockpit tent has been sewn, in which you can stand up to your full height.

Very beautiful and well-maintained Monsun 31. It can be seen that the boat is owned by an experienced sailor who not only traveled on it, but also managed to participate in competitions on it and take prizes (judging by the photos with diplomas).

The classic interior is in excellent condition. New Lewmar hatches were installed. A new antifouling was applied. The ad has a link to Google Disc with more than 120 photos, if you’re interested, you can see how a really well–maintained yacht should look 😉

A new water heater is installed. A good stove with an oven, two sinks and a refrigerator. There is “smart” charging and a solar panel.

The sails inventory is not new, but in good condition. There are covers on the mainsail and the staysail. There is also a storm staysail and a spinnaker. All the running rigging looks new.

The boat has a 2003 Volvo Penta MD2030 engine. The engine is fully functional and has always been serviced on time. There is also a bow-thruster. This boat is very hard controlled in reverse, so the bow-thruster is very good.

There is a spray hood and a cockpit tent. A bathing ladder at the stern. Among the disadvantages, I would note the absence of an anchor winch with a chain on the bow.

A reliable and seaworthy 43 ft boat. The boat is fully ready for living on board or long trips. The price for such a boat can start from 65K euros in the Mediterranean!

Three cabins, two toilets and a shower. There is also a hot and cold shower in the cockpit.

The boat looks very well-maintained inside. The wooden elements are in good condition. New plumbing. I really like the solution with a partition with windows between the salon and the forward cabin. It looks very cozy. What do you think? 🙂

The Yanmar 3JH3E 38 hp 2000 engine starts and runs like clockwork. The engine has been always conserved for the winter, the oil and filters have been also changed every year. In 2021, the transmission was replaced.

The Volvo Penta MD7B engine was serviced every 50 engine hours. Gaskets, impeller and anodes have been replaced. The engine runs like clockwork.

The boat also looks well-maintained inside. The galley has a new propane stove and an ice-box with a freezer.

A complete set of sails: a new 2023 genoa on the furling, an older but working mainsail and spinnaker, which was practically not used. New two-speed winches have been installed.

A new spray hood has been sewn. The teak deck was renovated in 2022 and looks good.
