A very good and reliable boat made in Sweden. Malö boats were made at the same shipyard where the Hallberg-Rassy boats were manufactured.

These brands are often compared, and they really have a lot in common.

Two separate cabins + a spacious saloon. Separate toilet with shower. The woodwork looks great. It’s clear that the boat is being watched. It’s stored in a heated room every winter.

All seacocks and thru-hulls were replaced in 2018.

The sails look good. There is a mainsail with a cover and a staysail on a furler. There is no wiring of the halyards to the cockpit. This means that you will have to go to the mast to set up the mainsail. It’s not very convenient, but it’s generally ok.

The Volvo Penta 2003 engine is always serviced on time.

The boat has a Garmin chartplotter, autopilot, echo sounder, VHF radio station and more.

I couldn’t get past that boat. This model is confidently included in my personal top boats up to 10 meters. My friend Alex had such a boat, and we used it to record some of the videos for the «Captain of Your Own Sailboat» video course.

These boats are quite rare in ads because people are not in a hurry to sell them. It’s a relatively durable and safe boat of incredible quality.

The new Volvo Penta D1-30 engine is installed on this boat. This is a very good and reliable engine.

The sails look good.

There is hot water in the galley and a new Isotherm refrigerator.

Fully dedicated electric toilet.

New solar panels with new battery charging. The condition of the batteries themselves is unknown, but I think that if there are so many consumers, then the batteries should work well.

All electrical wiring is new. It’s important.

This is a relatively compact but well-upgraded boat, ready for extended cruising. The current owner crossed the Atlantic solo in December, and the boat was thoroughly prepared for the journey.

In recent years, it has undergone major upgrades, including a full standing rig replacement by professionals in 2023. It’s now fully outfitted for off-grid living.

The boat features new solar panels and a strong battery system with both AGM and lithium batteries. A powerful inverter allows for the use of a microwave, coffee maker, induction cooker, and even an electric grill.

Karcher watermaker and diesel heater were installed in 2024. The hull and underwater part are in great condition, the bottom was painted with a copper-based antifouling in 2023.

This sailing yacht underwent a full refit in 2023–2024 and is well-suited for both long-distance passages and short coastal cruises.

Over the past year, it was also partially used as temporary housing. It’s being sold simply because the family now owns two boats.

The hull was completely sanded and repainted, with new antifouling below the waterline. The deck was also refurbished, with EVA synthetic teak laid in the cockpit.

This type of decking is much more practical and easier to maintain than natural teak.

The sails appear to be in like-new condition. The winches and most of the deck hardware have been replaced. All halyards and sheets are new. The standing rigging was inspected in autumn 2023.

The interior has also been fully refreshed: the bulkheads have been painted and varnished, all hatches and windows replaced, new floorboards installed, new cushions and mattresses added (except for the aft cabin, which was used for storage).

New toilet with completely renewed plumbing. Freshwater tank has been removed and cleaned. New automatic pump, faucets, freshwater pump, and hoses installed.

The electrical system has been completely replaced: new wiring, batteries, lighting, shore power system, and charger.

The boat is equipped with a Sole Mini engine (26 HP). New starter, filters, and injectors.

Also on board: B&G chartplotter, VHF radio, dehumidifier, gas stove, fire extinguisher, and about 30 meters of shore power cable. Some tools and spare parts are included as well.

The legendary Swedish brand Hallberg–Rassy is famous for its impeccable assembly and seaworthiness.

I haven’t found any information about the model, but the boat looks attractive. Good price for 36 ft.

This is very similar to the skerry cruisers that used to be popular in Sweden.

Beautiful and well-maintained interior. There are all modern features: heating, hot water, LED lighting.

The galley has a stove, sink and refrigerator with a freezer.

The sails look new. A self-tacking staysail. The sails are stored in covers. There is a roller furler. All the lines are out in the cockpit.

The new Sole Mini 17 hp engine with a new three-bladed propeller. There is also a 5 kW Lewmar bow thruster. Since this boat has a long keel and the rudder is in front of the propeller, it’s very useful to have a bow thruster.

The starting and house AGM batteries are new. There are also 2 separate batteries for the thruster.

There is a lot of useful equipment on the boat: autopilot with baller drive and remote control, Garmin chartplotter with maps, Raymarine wind instruments, solar panel and more.

Beautiful and very well-maintained boat. Only two owners in the entire history. As it says in the original ad: the current owner has owned the boat since 2000 and has left nothing to chance during these 24 years. I think that I know this approach. Over the past 4 years, about 40,000 euros have been invested in the boat, and now it’s being sold at almost the price of these investments!

Thick fiberglass hull with mahogany and teak deck. The wooden elements are in excellent condition.

Every winter, the boat was stored in a warm, heated room.

The interior and cushions are in excellent condition. The underwater part has been cleaned and painted with a new antifouling.

The batteries and charger are new.

New standing rigging and a new furling mast. Genoa is also on the furling. This allows you to handle the setting of sails even alone. By the way, in this model, the marking «50» it’s not the length of the boat, but a sum of the areas of the staysail and mainsail.

The Perkins 54 hp engine was purchased in 2001 and still works as new.

A nice and fast boat after a major overhaul.

All the electrics and wiring are new, all the hoses of the water supply system have been replaced, the fresh water tank has been cleaned. If everything is done correctly, then this is very good and minus one “headache” for the coming years.

Just before the season, the entire standing and running rigging were replaced. The work was carried out by professionals. This is a very large investment, which cost almost 10,000 euros.

The Volvo Penta MD2030 engine was removed and completely repaired in 2022.
