I’ll tell you right away about the engine. It’s written that there’s either a faulty injector or it requires maintenance. The engine itself is in good condition, the owner says he doesn’t want to maintain it and in Norway such a service is quite expensive.

There’s a Suzuki 6 h.p. outboard motor. It works fine. For this size of boat outboard motors are generally used, inboard ones are very rare.

The wood and plastic look very fresh, the sails are also in good condition, the cushions are updated. There’s fresh antifouling, the electrics is in good condition also, there’s a VHF radio station, a 200 liter water tank (that’s a lot), mooring equipment, GPS navigator and much more!

One more small boat will allow you to start sailing at the price of a week charter! Then this boat can be sold in the Balticы for 3500-4000 euro and if the inboard engine is repaired, it is possible for 5000 euro.

A 4-stroke Yamaha 8 hp motor from 2013 was used very little.

The interior was updated. There’s a 21 hp Nanni diesel engine 3.75HE, 2000 hours, fresh enough. It’s written that it works well.

The sails are old there’re 2 sets. New sails should be sewn, it’s quite inexpensive in Estonia. There’s a jib furler.

You need to sort out the wood, make new pillows inside, etc.

There’s a lot of expensive equipment, some of it was purchased and wasn’t installed.

There’s a radar, a wind turbine, AIS Transponder (new in box), wind autopilot, a new anchor winch, solar panels, 5 new batteries, a navigator, VHF radio, an inflatable boat with an outboard motor, rescue equipment, mooring equipment, a bunch of spare parts, etc.

There’s a swim platform (it is very comfy and hip — the statement is based on my personal experience), an Autohelm ST 1000 autopilot, gas lines were updated, the gas oven is new. There’s also an anchor with a 50 meters anchor rope, mooring equipment, etc.

In the stern you can see a huge (just enormous!) bed. The kitchen is organized not in the corner but along all the left portside which is quite comfortable.

This sailboat is more like an apartment than like the common sailboats. It’s very cool for living 🙂

Maxi 77 is a family boat for easy cruises. A lot of updates were made on this boat in 1999, one might say, they made major repairs.

Wood and plastic look good as you can see in the photo.

They installed a new engine, repainted the hull and installed a new stainless steel fuel tank.

The boat also has updated sails, a jib furler, a lazy jack (2014), a spinnaker with a convenient assembling and stocking system.

There’s an echo sounder, a navigator, a bow platform, mooring equipment and other things that are not mentioned in the ad.

The boat has a fin keel so you should check the condition of the keel bolts. It’s important to clarify when they were replaced. If the replacement was made in 1999 then they will probably need to be replaced. The service life of the keel bolts is about 20 years.

Everything else looks very fresh and good. The Maxi 77 sailboats are usually equipped with outboard motors. The models with updated inboard motors are very rare especially in such good condition.

This is a non-standard project for Hallberg-Rassy. They made a motorsailer and it sails quite well even at a windward.

The Hallberg-Rassy 94 Kutter crossed oceans, i.e. it is also a reliable offshore sailboat like all other HR.

The boat has a long keel, low draft and maximum reliability.

There is a full set of sails and genoa furler.

In 2012 the engine was replaced with a new one which now has a haulage of about 800 hours (only about 10% of the total resource is used).

In 2016 they made major repairs and replaced a lot of things and installed additional equipment. The boat looks very fresh.

The wood and plastic are in excellent condition, the teak is also in good condition.

The width of 3.3 meters gives maximum comfort for this size so the boat feels like a 12-meter!

The length of the hull is 9.4 meters which means that you fall into both categories at once: up to 9.5 meters and 8-10 meters. This is a very good size for inexpensive staying in the marina.

The layout is also very cool, spacious, there’s a huge number of lockers in the cockpit.

The fuel supply is 150 liters, the water supply is 150 liters. This can easily be expanded due to flexible tanks. For example, add another 100-200 liters.

The sailboat has both a tiller and a steering wheel. This is also quite convenient.

The mainsail cover and spray hood look fresh. The outside of the boat looks very well-tended. Perhaps the boat was repainted and a new gelcoat was made.

There is a complete set of sails but unfortunately no jib furler. Nothing is said about the condition of the sails either.

It’s a small boat but it is perfect for starting in sailing and it is also a boat of the legendary Hallberg Rassy brand which is also a big plus.
