The boat is currently crossing the Atlantic and will be sold when it arrives in the Caribbean. It’s common when people sell a boat after a long trip for which they have been preparing for a long time. As a rule, such boats are well equipped and prepared.

The Beneteau First 38 is over 40 feet long, despite the model name. These models have an excellent balance of driving characteristics and comfort level.

Before the Transatlantic, she has been prepared properly. New antifouling. New running rigging with Dyneema halyards. New stay and shrouds.

The boat also looks well-kept inside. Three cabins and two bathrooms (one with a manual pump, the second electric).

Separate starter and house AGM batteries. LED lighting. There is a solar panel.

A large set of sails: a staysail on a furler, a mainsail, a genoa, an additional new genoa and a new spinnaker.

In 2018, a new Yanmar engine was installed on the boat.

Relatively new sprayhood and bimini, on a stainless steel frame.

A beautiful and well-maintained Swedish-made boat. The model has good sailing characteristics and the previous owner has repeatedly won regattas on this boat.

The teak interior is in very good condition. The keel bolts are visible in the photo and they look like they are quite new. If so, then this is a very important and time-consuming update.

The galley is equipped with a stove with oven, sink and refrigerator. There is hot water.

A toilet with a septic tank is located between the salon and the forward cabin.

There is a Wallas heater on the boat.

A new lithium battery bank has been installed.

Full set of sails: kevlar staysail, kevlar genoa, mainsail, spinnaker and gennaker. The sails were checked at the Gran Seil professional sailing workshop.

The original Yanmar 2GM engine was recently taken out and overhauled and works well.

There is an anchor winch with a chain on the bow, but its length is unknown. Most likely it’s about 50 meters, this is enough to stand at a depth of 8-10 meters. There is also an anchor with a line at the stern.

A very interesting offer for those who are not afraid to put their hands and a little love to the boat.

The 47-feet yacht with 5 cabins is ready to go to sea, but needs to be improved.

Mostly cosmetic tasks. For example, there are no cushions in the cabins, and in one bathroom (there are 3 in total) there is no toilet bowl. The wood is worn in places, but this is not such a big problem.
