Again the heading «a yacht for circumnavigation». Watkins 36 is a reliable and durable boat with a long keel.

The boat is being compared to the more affordable version of the Island Packet, Najad or Pacific Seacraft.

The teak interior looks very beautiful. The boat is clearly after refit and looks quite modern and tasteful.

A good headroom is as much as 2 meters. A galley with everything you need. Toilet with shower with access from the salon and forward cabin.

Very good autonomy due to the 870 Ah battery bank and solar panels.

A complete set of fresh sails: a mainsail with a patent reef, a genoa on a furler and a gennaker. The sails are in excellent condition.

In July 2024, a completely new 55 hp Solé Mini engine was installed with a running time of only 4 hours. A new engine is always good. Maybe it’s even under warranty.

There is a davit at the stern for storing the dinghy. A dinghy with a motor is also included in the price.

The legendary boat that sailed to the Caribbean from Norway. I believe that a boat that has crossed the Atlantic is always a worthy offer. Of course, something is bound to break in such a transition, but this is the consumable part. And a good shipowner is likely to replace it immediately.

All standing rigging has been checked. Lithium house batteries and a new starter one.

The interior is in good condition. New cushions. The upholstery needs to be repaired in places — this is not critical. There is a new refrigerator in the galley, but it has stopped functioning.

An interesting offer. The boat is a semi-project that the owner didn’t manage to complete. Nevertheless, the boat is ready to go to sea, and the remaining amount of work is cosmetic in fact.

All the seacocks have been replaced — this is important. The standing rigging was checked. The entire running rigging was replaced with a new one. The diesel tank is cleaned.

An interesting and updated boat. It’s well-equipped and autonomous enough for circumnavigation or year-round live onboard.

In 2022, there was a huge refit and the boat received an updated interior and a brand-new kitchen with a more modern design.

The entire underwater part, including the keel and rudder, was sanded and repainted.

Very high autonomy due to new 1200W solar panels, a large group of fresh batteries (1-3 years old) and a powerful inverter. The solar panels are installed in the most correct way, in my opinion, on the arch.

Fairly fresh sails: genoa on a furling (4 years old) and a mainsail (5 years old). Most of the running rigging was replaced two years ago.

The Yanmar engine is fully serviced and works like clockwork.

These boats have a good headroom of 190 cm, which allows even a tall person to stand tall.
