The Player 311 is a practical sailboat for those starting out in sailing or seeking a manageable boat for coastal trips. The size is forgiving for new sailors, and handling during docking is predictable. Maintenance and mooring costs are modest.
This boat is easy to sail solo or with family. The rig is straightforward, and the roller system for the sails adds to the user-friendly setup. The hull was sanded to fiberglass in spring 2025, with new primer and self-polishing antifouling applied.
The interior is warm and cozy, with space for four to sleep comfortably. The galley is simple and functional, with a two-burner stove and pressurized water. There is a large water tank and a holding tank, so several days at anchor are possible.
The electrical system was fully renewed in 2025. There is a 200 Ah leisure battery, 80 Ah starter battery, solar charging, and an 800 W inverter for 220V power. This setup supports both cruising and remote work.
The engine is original Volvo Penta. There is a minor injector issue at low RPM, causing extra diesel soot. This does not affect propulsion or general operation. The price reflects the need for future injector service.

Friends! Today we have a true gem — a Colin Archer 42, built in 1998. Price — 59 300 euro!
📍 Location: Norway
Length: 12.8 m Beam: 3.7 m Draft: 2.0 m Displacement: 18,000 kg Engine: Perkins 72 hp (inboard) Fuel: diesel (2 x 150 L tanks) Year: 1998 Hull material: ferrocement Berths: 8 (7 sleeping)
Colin Archer is a name that has become synonymous with seaworthy reliability. His boats were designed to work in the harshest conditions of the Norwegian Sea: rescue vessels, fishing cutters, and cruising sailboats capable of withstanding any storm.
This sailboat is a larger replica of Archer’s famous Marie. She was built by one of Norway’s finest ferrocement specialists and became the pinnacle of his craft. Tora has already crossed the Atlantic and sailed to the Caribbean, and now she’s searching for a new owner.
On board: a full sail set including new mainsail and jib, electric windlass with remote, autopilot, GPS, VHF, sprayhood, cockpit shower with hot and cold water.
Inside: a galley with gas stove, fridge, cozy cabin with heater for winter berths. She also comes with new winches, electric and manual bilge pumps, fresh wiring, and a neat interior. Included is a 10-foot Highfield inflatable dinghy with aluminum bottom and Tohatsu 9.9 outboard (about 5 years old).
Of course, a sailboat like this requires more care and attention than a standard fiberglass boat. But rest assured — both in harbor and at sea, she will turn heads wherever you go.
