This boat is a motorsailer, that is, a motor vessel on which a mast and sails are installed. A quite powerful 27hp diesel engine is installed. For convenience, there is a stationary hard spray hood (possibly complete with a closed aft tent), where you will feel more comfortable in bad weather.
