The Maxi 95 is a practical and well-kept 32-foot sailboat, designed by Pelle Petterson. This model enjoys a huge fan base worldwide thanks to its balanced sailing qualities and clever interior layout. With the separate aft cabin, it’s easy to welcome guests aboard or cruise comfortably with children.
The cockpit features teak grates and seating cushions in good condition. Wheel steering and a user-friendly rig make single-handed sailing manageable. The mast was replaced in 1995, and the sails – jib, genoa, mainsail, and spinnaker – have seen little use since 1997.
Below deck, the saloon has a warm atmosphere with blue upholstery and solid woodwork. Six berths provide flexible sleeping arrangements for family or crew. The galley is equipped for longer trips, with a stove and pressurized water.
The Nanni diesel engine was installed in 2003 and is started regularly, ensuring reliability. The boat is currently afloat and can be inspected in Volda harbor.
