Milonga is the eldest sister of the Schelinkryssare fleet, launched at Oscar Schelin’s Kungsör yard. Tore Holm designed her with classic lines and practical craftsmanship, reflecting two of Sweden’s most respected names.
Her hull is Honduras mahogany on oak frames. The interior is finished in varnished woodwork with red upholstery, creating a warm and traditional atmosphere. The layout is simple, with one cabin, a cozy saloon, and berths forward.
Under sail, Milonga is predictable and well-balanced. The higher mast gives her good speed in light winds. She handles both coastal cruising and open water calmly, with the full keel adding stability and reliable tracking.
The engine compartment is clean and accessible. Ongoing care is clear throughout, and her maintenance history is well documented. The boat is currently stored at Ringö yard in Gothenburg and can be viewed by appointment.
Milonga is practical for coastal passages or relaxed weekends. The joinery is well-kept, and the classic build gives her a timeless feel.
