Aphrodite 33 was built at the same shipyard and standards as the more famous Najad. In fact, it’s the same manufacturer. It was a subsidiary first, later it merged into Najad.
Build quality is equally high – these are real Swedish cruising yachts, made by hand and with great attention to detail.
The boat is well-maintained, with many upgrades, and ready for the season. In spring 2025, the hull was polished and received fresh antifouling.
An Eberspacher diesel heater, an electric toilet, a refrigerator, a stove with an oven, and a water heater provide comfortable everyday living.
There is a TV, an audio system with Bluetooth, LED lighting, soft mattresses with new upholstery.
Separate toilet with shower and a shower in the cockpit.
Volvo Penta 2003 engine (approx 4000 hours) with a new generator and a three-bladed folding propeller.
Sails: a mainsail with a lazy bag and genoa on a furling.
There is a new tent and a sprayhood in the cockpit, and an anchor winch and a davit at the stern.
The teak is original, the owner says it’s still thick enough (12 mm). Such thickness is good, you can update the wood by sanding, but I don’t like that it is screwed to the deck. Nobody does that way anymore.
Equipment: a Furuno radar, Raymarine autopilot with remote control, TackTick instruments, Garmin GPS, VHF and compass. A solar panel, an inverter, AGM batteries and a Mastervolt charging system ensure autonomy.
