The Sandvik MS 880 is a Norwegian motorsailer, well-suited for coastal cruising and offering a practical pilothouse for shelter in changing weather.
The layout features a bright wheelhouse, a galley with stove and sink, and a cozy saloon with classic striped upholstery. Six berths make overnight trips with family or friends possible.
The Yanmar 3GMD diesel engine is reliable and easy to maintain. The owner has completed regular servicing, including new batteries and filters in 2024.
Recent upgrades include a rebuilt deck, new deck coatings, and repaired sails. The deck was stripped, filled, and re-glassed for a dry, solid feel underfoot.
There are a few finishing jobs left: reinstalling some deck fittings and rigging adjustments. The hull and structure are dry, with ventilation and dehumidifier in use.
The mooring in Haugesund is sheltered and can be rented on transfer. Storage for equipment is included.
