This Friendship 28 is well-kept and ready for new journeys. The hull and deck are clean, and the cockpit benches show recent care. The interior features warm woodwork and a practical galley.
The Volvo Penta engine has been overhauled in 2023, with new alternator and saildrive seal in 2025. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, supporting longer trips.
All winches have been serviced in 2025. Most lines are new from 2024. The steering is direct by tiller, and the mast can be lowered with the spinnaker pole system.
The electrical system is practical. A new fridge was installed in 2023 and a 2000 W inverter lets you use appliances at anchor. Water is available by electric or foot pump.
Navigation is simple with depth sounder, speedometer, and compass on deck. Inside, a chart table with USB charging keeps devices powered.
Antifouling was renewed in 2025. Preventive maintenance was done on many systems. The boat is in good condition both in and out of the water.
