This is a yacht with a rich story behind every line. Built in 1931 for Baron de Turckheim and named after his mother, ELLEN was designed by Talma Bertrand, a renowned architect of international-gauge boats. She was first rigged as a yawl, then converted to a Marconi sloop in 1958.
After crossing the Atlantic, ELLEN arrived in the Mediterranean during the 1960s and has been based in Marseille ever since. The same family has cared for her since 1975.
ELLEN is registered as a Heritage Interest Boat and has taken part in the main Mediterranean classic regattas for more than forty years. This is a boat for those who take yacht racing seriously.
The interior is simple and practical; it does not aim for comfort but instead supports the demands of competition and offshore sailing. Every detail is about function and readiness for racing conditions.
This is not a yacht for those seeking a cozy retreat. It is for sailors who appreciate history and a purposeful, sporting design. ELLEN is a living piece of regatta culture, with a layout and deck built for teamwork and performance.
