This is a true classic of Northern sailing — reliable, with a good reputation and excellent seaworthiness.
The current owners have purchased this boat twice. They first sold it but missed it so much that they bought it back. The current owners also knew the first owner — the boat has always been in caring hands, with regular upgrades and investments.
Over the past 2 years, around 25,000 euros has been invested in the boat. However, due to the purchase of a new boat, they are willing to consider a quick and fair offer — to find a caring new owner for Balto before spring preparations.
The yacht is equipped with a new engine — Volvo Penta D2-40, 40 hp.
The yacht also features a bow thruster, making it more maneuverable and easing docking.
Good sail rigging: furling genoa, new mainsail with lazy jack and lazy bag.
Central cockpit, teak decking. According to the owner, the teak was updated around 2010. New sprayhood.
Classic original interior, in very good condition. The salon looks well-maintained and cozy. The yacht is equipped with a Webasto diesel heater with outlets in all cabins, adding comfort during the colder months.
The galley includes a gas stove with an oven and a fridge. A new boiler has been installed, with hot water in both the galley and head.
The head is separated and located between the salon and the forward cabin. The toilet and hoses have been updated.
A lot of new equipment: depth sounder, chartplotter, log, anemometer. There is a portable VHF radio.
The boat also comes with an anchor winch, but it is not installed or tested.
