Friends, today we have a boat from our subscriber \u2013 a Dehler 38 with new sails and lots of equipment for 47 000 euros!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Length: 11.80 meters
Beam: 3.80 meters
Draft: 2.00 meters

Kitchen (galley): yes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A good boat is fully prepared for large sea voyages or crossing the ocean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat is currently in the Caribbean. The owner of the boat is our subscriber, who invested heavily in the boat, but had to sell it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The standing rigging was replaced in 2022. This is one of the main nodes on any boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The underwater part has been cleaned and painted with new antifouling. A new rudder blade. Hope the old one wasn\u2019t bitten off by orcas \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something like a hard-top and a hard-dodger was made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the stern is a targa with solar panels and a Starlink modem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An almost new set of sails: genoa on a furling (2022), mainsail (2022), a second staysail on a furling (2019), as well as a complete set of older spare sails, including a spinnaker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat has a Volvo Penta 2003T engine. Full maintenance was done in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New electrics \u2014 AGM batteries, solar panels, inverter, Bluetooth charge monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat has a watermaker (30 liters\/hour), which can operate independently of batteries. This is a fairly expensive device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new powerful anchor has been purchased (perhaps even excessively powerful).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat also has an autopilot, wind autopilot, chartplotter, life raft (active) and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All power tools, spare parts, life jackets, SUP surf and even bicycles are also given with the boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, the list of everything on the boat is so big that I won\u2019t put it in one post. It\u2019s better to see it for yourself once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
