Friends, today we have a steel yawl for real romantics \u2014 Laurent Giles with a brand new Sol\u00e9 engine for 70 200 euros!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a gaff yawl with a steel hull and a very interesting story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The yacht was requested by the son of a famous Swedish writer, who cut down trees from his yard to make the interior inside the boat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project turned out to be quite interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the reference to classic boats, this boat is quite well equipped and updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, a new standing rigging has been installed. All the seacocks have been replaced. The boat was repainted 3 years ago with five layers of special paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new gas stove is installed in the galley. There is also a new toilet in a separate room and new hoses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a wood-burning heater in the cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A complete set of sails. There is a furling on the bowsprit. There are covers or UV protection for all sails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, a new Sol\u00e9 engine was installed on the boat. New bushings and a propeller were also installed. The engine has only 50 hours and works like a clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a lot of modern equipment on the boat: B&G chartplotter, VHF, AIS, new batteries with charger, solar panel and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dinghy is visible in the photo, but without the motor. If it\u2019s given away with the boat, then it\u2019s good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
