\u201cCerensa\u201d has given her owners wonderful joys for many years\u2014along the Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish coasts, in all kinds of weather. The boat has witnessed beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and lazy summer days at anchor in scenic harbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has carried family and friends, or just two people, on memorable journeys. The long keel and sturdy construction make her predictable in rough conditions. The center cockpit, teak deck, and bowsprit were added at a traditional shipyard known for its classic Norwegian handcrafted boats in 1995\u201396.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The interior is warm, with a captain\u2019s cabin aft and a forward cabin. The saloon benches convert for extra guests. The galley includes a Dickinson diesel stove, which heats the boat on early-spring or late-autumn trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Dickinson wood stove is installed in the aft cabin. Hot air from engine cooling adds comfort. Last winter, new teak was laid on the cabin tops at Orust, and the electrical system was updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deck and interior have been carefully maintained. \u201cCerensa\u201d is practical for family cruising, longer expeditions, or as a student home. She is now ashore at N\u00e6rsnes, ready for new adventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
