The Scanner 38 was launched in 1988 and quickly gained popularity for her graceful lines and great sailing performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is hull #35<\/a>, designed by Nils-Eric Olofsson and built by Scanyacht AB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interior layout and livability:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The saloon is spacious, with sofas on both sides and a central table. The galley is L-shaped and located to port at the base of the companionway. Opposite it, to starboard, is the navigation station. The wide sole area gives the whole cabin a bright and roomy feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forward, you\u2019ll find a large double V-berth with generous storage. Aft is the classic owner\u2019s cabin with its own entrance to port and direct access to the head on starboard. There are also large storage lockers on both sides of the aft cabin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
